LOOP is a 22-minute sci-fi thriller set in a near-future where pain and grief itself can be optimized away. In a near-future world where technology has rendered most human labor obsolete, Zoe Pearce, a despairing artist, finds herself selected as a finalist for the universe challenge. This exclusive competition promises membership in humanity's most coveted experience: complete digital personalized immersion, where pain, suffering, and unwanted emotions are eliminated.

The film stars the Bay's own Syra McCarthy (Josephine) and Nika Burnett (Brindisi), alongside Mitya Savelau (3 Body Problem, The Crown). Written and directed by Brenton Gieser, and shaped and crafted by some of the most talented filmmakers in the Bay Area.
