Joshua Tree artist Sunny Moon closes the evening with an immersive multimedia performance as Wildlife Freeway. Performing original songs live alongside her own evocative music videos, she creates a dreamlike landscape where music, film, and visual art converge into a singular cinematic concert experience.
Gromnica
A conceptual film by filmmaker Alex Valdivia and choreographer/dancer Lauren Slivosky, with a live score by bassist and composer Janie Cowan. A solitary figure moves through the chaos of the world, pulled inward by an irresistible force. Guided by instinct, she gathers the elements for a somatic ritual that culminates in a live dance performance, blurring the boundary between cinema and stage.
Red Light Lit
An immersive literary performance where poetry and storytelling meet live music. Featuring original work by Peter Bullen, Vincent Chu, Kimberly Gomes, Sarah Bethe Nelson, Christine No, Alex Valdivia, and Preeti Vangani, accompanied by an original live score from acclaimed composer Nick Jaina, who will also read from his new book, Abrazo, and dancer Eva Vargas. Together, words and music create an intimate evening of connection, humor, longing, and revelation.
