Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, polkadot began as a solo project by guitarist/vocalist Daney Espiritu. Their project blossomed into a full band consisting of Anton Benedicto on drums, Jordan Jones on bass, and Matthew Estolano on guitar. Inspired by 90s twee, emo, and a penchant for international pop, polkadot makes music with a smile on the brink of emotional collapse.
