Devin Shaffer
Devin Shaffer is a New York-based musician and artist fusing folk music, ambient experimentations, field recordings and archival audio. After releasing a string of EPs under the moniker Yarrow, she first gained attention with her debut LP In My Dreams I'm There (2021), becoming a rising figure in the experimental folk scene and sharing stages with artists such as L'Rain, Rachika Nayar, Bing & Ruth, Steve Hauschildt, and Nailah Hunter. Her latest album, Patience (2025) - a radiant minimalist folk record woven with piano, harp and delicate percussion - confirms her place at the forefront of the new avant-garde folk scene.

Freight Train Lady is the song-conjuring project of Gabi Orion, born in Santa Rosa and raised between Point Reyes and the mountain. Brought to life by a band of lovers, friends, and family, these are some country-fried lonesome jukebox fairy circle spells to heal the heart & soul.

I am a first- generation Gujarati American musician, collaborating sonic artist, and songwriter. I use electronic and acoustic elements to bring stories of the peripheral and third-culture experience to life.
I like to create within the framework of "musical rematriation." To me, this means listening with depth and intention, trusting myself, slowing down, using resources mindfully, understanding and integrating my physical environment(s), deepening connection to my ancestral heritage, and aligning with projects that encourage communal healing.
My compositions, productions, and performances have been featured in spaces including SXSW (Austin), Victoria and Albert Museum (London), de Young Museum (San Francisco), Proyectos Públicos (Mexico City), and Harvard Graduate School of Design (Cambridge); outdoor brands that include Red Bull, The North Face and Arc'teryx; and documentary film featured at CANNESERIES and beyond. In addition to my work as a collaborating artist, I release experimental multi-genre music with Psychic Eye Records.
