Amulets
Amulets is the solo project of Portland-based audio + visual artist Randall Taylor. Amulets employs handmade cassette tape loops and live processed guitar loops to create live, lush soundscapes and immersive drones. Through the recontextualisation of cassettes, sampling, field recording, and looping, these long-form compositions blur the genres of ambient, drone, noise, and electronic music.
r beny
r beny is the ambient electronics outlet of California-based musician Austin Cairns. Through the use of synthesizers, samplers, and other electronic and acoustic instruments, r beny weaves intricate threads of texture, timbre, and melody in order to render sonic expressions evoked by loss, reflection, and place.
Sheena Dham
Sheena Dham (she/her) is a musician, sound artist, and songwriter living in Oakland, CA. Her songs, compositions, and performances have been featured in internationally acclaimed spaces including the Victoria and Albert Museum (London), de Young Museum (San Francisco), Proyectos Públicos (Mexico City), and Harvard Graduate School of Design (Cambridge), outdoor brands that include the North Face and Arc'teryx, and documentary film featured at Cannes International Series Festival and beyond. In addition to her work as a collaborating artist, she is signed with Psychic Eye Records as an experimental multi-genre musician. Her latest album, Familiarity Heuristic, is available on Bandcamp and all streaming platforms.
